Class Descriptions

BASIC 1 CLASS - Ages 6-12
Basic 1 is an introductory class for skaters ages 6-12.  NO skating experience is necessary.  Skaters will learn the all of the basics starting with how to fall down and stand up by themselves all the way through swizzles and backward skating.

PARENT TOT CLASS - Ages 3-5
Due to COVID, in lieu of our typical Snowplow Sam 1 class, we are offering Parent Tot.  For this class, each skater will be accompanied by 1 parent or guardian (at least 18 years of age) who already knows how to skate.  Please be advised - we are not teaching the adults how to skate in this class.  You must already know how to skate as you will be helping your skater stand and get up if they fall so that we can keep things as safe as possible by not having our coaches holding hands with students the entire class time.  This class will not only help teach parents how to help their skaters but we will also go through the typical Snowplow Sam 1 curriculum.
ADULT/TEEN Class - Ages 13+
NO skating experience is necessary. Skaters will be able to take the Adult/Teen class and start from no experience through elements in the Basic 6 level. Once skaters have passed through Basic 6 they would need to switch to the FreeSkate levels. Basic skating, figure skating, and hockey skills will be taught pending the needs of the skater.
